The FMC Natatorium at Ty Warner Park rests on five (5) acres owned by the Westmont Park District and is located across the street from Westmont Park District's award winning, 36 acre Ty Warner Park.  Acquired by the WPD in 1998, the park is named in honor of Ty H. Warner, creator of the famed "Beanie Babies" plush toys, whose generous donation towards the development of the park has made it one of the best community parks in the western suburbs.  Also within walking distance of the Natatorium is ‘James M. Long Park’, with 3 lighted basketball courts, as well as the Park District's Fitness Club located at 424 Plaza Drive.

With over 100 restaurants in Westmont and nearby communities, you will find award-winning BBQ, exquisite Italian dishes, world-class Chinese cuisine and more.  Westmont has something for everyone. Also in town is the Westmont Auto Mile which offers the greatest selection of award-winning car dealerships (Acura, Audi, BMW, Infiniti, Lexus, Mercedes, Toyota and more) in the Midwest.

Golf courses are plentiful in the area, from a nine-hole par 3 course to championship courses. Westmont offers many recreation options for longer stays.
