Swim Lessons - Limited

1 on 1 Swim lessons

These swim lessons are one (1) child and one (1) instructor for the 30 minutes. Lessons are geared towards the child's ability. This is a monthly subscription (4 lessons per month).

Swim lessons are recommended for children and toddlers ages 4 yrs+.

FMC Natatorium Cancelation and No-Show Policy

Effective immediately, January 2021, for all 1 on 1 swim lessons, cancelation must be made at least 24 hours in advance or your account will reflect that you did attend the session. No-shows will reflect that you did attend the session.

You may call the Natatorium at 630-537-1188 or send an email to info@fmcnatatorium.org to cancel.

If cancelation is made more than 24 hours in advance, your account can have the missed session extended. We offer one make up lesson in a two month period.

We are setting this policy because we have an instructor(s) at the natatorium to provide your lesson, have reserved pool space to accommodate and have turned away others interested in lessons.

We appreciate your understanding of our policy.

** Use of the pools to regular users MAY be interrupted by the exclusive need of FMC to host major meets. We will continue to provide as much advance notice as possible for such events **

FMC has an annual facility use fee of $15.00 per participant.

GROUP SWIM LESSONS

Head Coach and Director of Aquatics Dave Krotiak has designed our swim lesson curriculum and strongly believes in swimming with proper technique. At the FMC Natatorium, we offer lessons clinics in our competitive 8 Lane 25 Yard Pool.

The Natatorium presents an exciting and competitive experience for all swimmers. Our lessons are held to a strict ratio of 6 swimmers per every 1 instructor for the shallow water levels and 6 swimmers per every 1 instructor for the deep water levels.

Swim Lessons Recommended for:

Our Group Lessons are recommended for children and toddlers ages 4 yrs+. Beginners of all ages and swimming abilities will not only be taught water safety but will be prepared to join neighborhood, club and school swim teams.

Level 1: Water Comfort & Submerging

Level 2: Floating & Moving Forward on Front

Level 3: Freestyle, Backstroke & Treading

Deep Water Levels:

Level 4: Swimming Lengths of the Pool

Level 5: Learning Butterfly & Breaststroke Kick

Level 6: Intro to Butterfly & Breaststroke

Level 7: Practicing all 4 Strokes

Level 8: Swimming all 4 Strokes

Level 9: Swimming I.M.’s & Longer Distances

Level 10: Swim Team Ready
