FMC Natatorium at Ty Warner Park is a 71,000 square-foot aquatic facility in the DuPage County community of Westmont, just over 20 miles west of downtown Chicago. The facility was built to give Illinois age group and senior swimmers a new home for its annual meet, and also to host national-level events. FMC Natatorium will become a regional destination that makes swimming accessible to as many children and adults as possible.
The Olympic-size Myrtha pool offers three sides of permanent seating for up to 1,200 spectators. Those on the second level can stand at a long countertop and observe meets while enjoying a coffee or snacks from the concession stand. The second floor also houses an entertainment room, swim shop, party room, and strength and conditioning room.
On the first floor, there are viewing windows between the competition and training pools. The meet manager room, hospitality room and offices are all accessible from the pool deck. The training pool also has a parent lounge with a viewing window. There are four locker rooms (two men’s and two women’s) divided between the pools.
