Pay: $25 -$30 per hour based on experience

Job Summary
This part-time position is responsible for managing and supporting the logistical activities related to local, state, and national aquatic events hosted at the FMC Natatorium.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Work directly with the facilities team to manage timelines to ensure the execution of events while delivering exceptional customer service
• Setup and tear down facility as required per event contract
• Point person for situations that occur during the event, including assisting coaches and officials to meet their needs (assisting with minor injuries, accepting food deliveries, etc.)
• The physical ability to perform routine pool duties including lifting and moving touch pads, lane lines, and other pool equipment (30 lbs)
• Assist with tasks associated with the successful execution of the event
• Provides onsite leadership to event volunteers, coaches and officials (knowing the details of the event and being able to communicate and answer questions from guests)
• Must be trustworthy and reliable
• Excellent interpersonal skills and solves problems cooperatively while conveying a positive attitude to others
• Promotes and maintains a clean and safe working environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Required to work early morning, nights and weekends – multiple consecutive day events
Qualifications Requirements
• Must have experience with large crowd management
• Aquatic event background and knowledge of swimming
• Knowledgeable in use of computers
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
• Organized and attention to detail
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred
Physical Demand
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, kneel or crouch. The employee will lift and/or move 10 pounds up to 30 pounds.
