Swim Instructor

Part-Time: Evening / Weekend

 

Position Available Starting: 2025 Winter & Spring

Position Summary

Seeking part-time EXPERIENCED swim instructor to help children improve their swimming. FMC Swim Instructors teach children ages 4-12 swimming skills for each level. Instructors must be able to interact and communicate well with students and parents.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  •  Provide a safe, friendly swim experience for all FMC members
  •  Background in swimming or experience with swim instruction
  • Communicates well with children and parents
  • Reliable instructors to work evening and weekend availability
  • Knowledgeable to promote all FMC Natatorium services

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Lifeguard certification preferred, but not required
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information with children and parents
  • Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
  • Must obtain CPR / First Aid certification within 3 months of hire
